The Foundation makes a limited number of grants that help support and strengthen the development of a healthy philanthropic sector and encourage collaboration and partnerships among funders. Grants are also made to organizations that provide capacity building and facilitate collaboration and partnerships among non-profit organizations.

It shines a light on some of the beset nonprofit organizations in Metropolitan Washington while building an engaged donor community.
Foundation Center Northeast
The Foundation Center provides grantseekers and grantmakers with free public access to print and electronic resources on fundraising, nonprofit management, and philanthropy and offers free training programs.
GuideStar connects people and organizations with information on the programs and finances of more than 1.7 million IRS-recognized nonprofits.
Jewish Funders Network
The Jewish Funders Network is an international organization dedicated to advancing the quality and growth of Jewish philanthropy.
NNCF only makes grants to pre-selected organizations.
